Everything up and running? Looks like some people didn't come into work today (could have been the snow) but, is this really that much of a game changer. I guess if people consider this the only solid MMO option right now, a patch like this would be a big deal.

Anxious to see the consensus after the patch hits. They seem to have a good list of changes. If everything goes well, I may fire the game back up. I know it's all I have heard at work. For whatever, it has quite a bit of people excited.

This may be one of the best PvP changes that would actually improve gameplay than I have seen in any other PvP game. Most changes I have seen in PvP games has been primarily a step toward depreciating the game.

I agree with Swag and Word (and whomever else).... I see no point to release them at launch. I am hoping for Velious to be locked for a period of time. I understand with Kunark due to iksar/starting zones but Velious needs to be locked probably until the summer.

Probably jump on this just for the initial rush. One thing I loved in EQ was jumping on a new server (regardless if I stayed) and leveling up through at least 20. Sometimes I would at least try to make it to the LGuK and SolB camps for the heck of it. Always a blast....

I noticed in the reading that you can plant houses down in lands you control... what if the land control changes? Do you then lose access to the house? Just curious if it just sits there and nothing changes but then you run the risk of being pillaged or something.
