You want ED or Soulrend for single target with bane if you want to kill bosses with any sort of speed. I ran Poacher's Mark / Windshriek for a while as 4th curse, but I found it's not really necessary, and probably not worth it to take Whispers of Doom. Here is my explody version I took...

I got bored grinding (no surprise there) and started a HOWA build. First time with Int Stacking and planning for first CI character as well.

I'm playing a Bane Occultist with ED for single target and really enjoying it. I am using 3 cluster jewels w/ Dark Ideation, Unspeakable Gifts, Student of Decay, Exposure Therapy, and Unwavering Evil nodes. I have not tried going to the Low Life version yet, as I have never done LL / CI build...

4,218 hp / 2,179 es with MoM and EB I stopped @ lvl 4 CWDT / lvl 5 IC. Activatged @ 725 damage. Seems better than Lvl 1 Molten Shell so far.

On a CWDT - Immortal Call set up, what is the ideal threshold level for CWDT to fire? Something like 33% - 50% of your HP? I'm thinking it's not good to have really low CWDT, as it will fire the IC cooldown on relatively small incoming hits. We only want IC to fire on those big spikes that...

I'm starting the get the hang of this new Atlas. I have killed all 4 conquerors now. I have like 6 watchstones so far and working my way up the tiers. Made lvl 86 last night, hoping to hit 90 tonight.
