Druids get pretty much no rage whatsoever from being attacked. Even at low item levels. Our offensive abilities are where we get our rage.

Shield Block is for all those DBM warnings in dungeons that say "Use Defensive Cooldown now!" every 8-20 seconds

I don't like it because there is no way for me to swap out relics. If I get three thrash relics that is what I want for my Guardian Druid for most fights but if I ever need the defensive stats from other relics I'd have to lose the thrash relics forever. Relics aren't random on what ability...

Just read the full patch notes. Guardian Druids got nerfed!! Thick Hide now reduces damage taken by 6% (was 10%).

The pages spawn even on normal. And even if you already cleared mythic the pages will still show up. The VH achieve will require at least two weeks and you're SoL this week because neither of the needed bosses are on the spawn schedule.
