They are tied to a % roll somewhere else. usually an innate stat like the damage resistance, which i think it is for the gloves so his roll is low due to the 31%.

Level 80 shield is actually seen as worthwhile for spiderman. The DPS loss is minimal with how dodge scales damage on his skills while you gain a lot of survivability.

Nah, Fury doesnt give the update until you hit 60. You can cheese it earlier if you have an alt account of some kind and use him to keep an instance alive while you port out, switch heroes and port back in. Mind you this is also a great way to cheese all the quests except the 3 skill points...

Warmachine was always terrible. His damage was always low and was forced into a choice in his passives of ok defense and HORRIBLE offence or bad defense and slightly better horrible offence.

Theres nothing top tier about warmachine. His damage is low even in a glass cannon spec and to get any sort of survivability you have to sacrifice more. He doesnt really have the option of changing legendaries to a shield for CDR unless you just want to take him past the part where running epics...

Converting damage isnt a problem. The entire problem is with the mechanics surrounding poison dots and its going to get nerfed into the ground. It was a rushed idea and wasnt well thought out at all.
