The reward in general is very underwhelming. These boxes which contains uniques (ok), cosmic medallions (ugh), artifacts which arnt very good and a unique ring that seems to be able to roll anything under the sun so you need some extreme RNG to find a good one.

That seems to be the view and its massively over reaching. Ive 4 manned it twice now, its not that hard. Dont die alot, pick up the orb buffs and youll breeze through. Pretty much if you can get into cosmic patrol zones youll do just fine in limbo.

Metas were already phased out by the new armor artifacts. Also the +3 from the new event wont really mean anything to this since the +1 from the artifacts is used by heroes who cant hit 50 in skills from their own uniques.

PA scales better but is weak early on. Power really comes when you can boost it above lvl 20 with empower and a +3 bow. Until then its sort of meh.

The best spies are people who want to join your guild and you tell them to spy for the rest of the campaign and you can join us in the next one.

I find this assumption to be terribly wrong through experience too. Most players in this wont belong to the guilds that have been together for a long time, they will be in guilds that formed exclusively for this game with very little attachment to it. Historically when guilds like this lose...

Im going the other way on this. A reset server was introduced in Shadowbane and everyone hated it to the point there was never a second season. Id go for longer campaigns, let the people who really want to fight it out do so for 4 months, those who dont can log in, have fun for a month or two...
