id expect this to change before launch. right now you rocket to 10, slow to a crawl to 20 and then speed up again all the way to 36. the 10-20 xp is obviously off and theres been a lot of feedback on it.
dont punish groups for wanting a large playerbase. Give players control. They want to zerg up a bunch of points? Let them, that makes a lot of enemies and traditionally the enemy of my enemy is my friend thinking comes into play and dissolves the zerg slowly. The problem open world pvp games...
has anyone done a true first person combat mmorpg? emphasis being on the rpg part. ultimately its where i feel the action combat is going. companies are to scared to take the leap so they implement a half measure to test the waters.
its more interesting in maps when it should. The biggest problem I have with PoE is that its so slow early on, about to the end of cruel. the pace is so slow that i just have trouble getting through it before turning my character into what i actually want it to be.

if you could do it with any regularity it might matter, but getting 40 people on to raid is hard enough, 40 people to pvp is going to be next to impossible.
i cant wait to see it too. Not because i think there will be any hint of end game in it, but theres been a ton of discussion regarding difficulty and key systems like AMPs, breakouts, etc on the forums and it will be interesting to see what way they choose to go with this. If they make the...
