IT/Software career thread: Invert binary trees for dollars.

Oh I realize that, yes. I don't know if I will be working on the Zumny, that's just one of their major projects they kept talking about - there were others too, some underwater mine detector and some missile system. I'd like to think I could get laid off any day here too since profits ain't...

IT/Software career thread: Invert binary trees for dollars.

The way it was explained to me was they typically work 10 or 9 hour shifts to make up the 80 in 9 days and take every other Friday off, it's pretty much relegated to Fridays and it's the same Fridays for everyone that uses it. Also they employ flex time so you can do more hours one day and less...

9/80 and I won't be able to negotiate that - but I'm ok with 9/80... i haven't had a friday off in years As for WFH it's not going to happen, I already asked about it and they "prefer not to". I'm not too worried about that. I'll probably be negotiating salary most likely.

Here's the best part. It cuts my commute by over 4 hours everyday. Yes. You read that right. Also the train costs $6k/year so that is immediate savings right off the bat. Its not a contracted position, it's full time salary. It's at raytheon and they shift people in house. I don't know what...

That was my original thought too. What's the harm? I've just never been in a position where I said "I will move for X" and they basically said "how about for X+5500?"

Got another dime sized mouth ulcer on the side of my tongue. Get them every few months. It's not cancer but it's absolutely debilitating. Can't eat or talk without searing pain. I wish there was something I could do besides mask the pain. Taking lysine-l stopped me from getting them in my...

Its kind of annoying because although I didn't want to play monk I was taking the time to level it in case the tanks I have leveled suck bad but this is basically insuring I'm not gonna do that. Why do any invasions at all now? My 100s don't need stupid 700 gear

    Just doing some napkin math Previous: Level 90, invasion gives 50k x 4 = 200k exp. Two times every 4 hours = 400k exp/4 hours = 100k exp/hour Now, if we are to believe exp is halved 25k x 4 = 100k exp x 4 = 400k exp/2 hours, doubled = 800k exp/4 hours = 200k exp/hour

Dumbass question. I want to hook a few 60hz monitors up to my 1070. I think the only ports I have left are 4x display ports (I used the one DVI for my 144hz). Do display port to DVI adapters work reasonably well for what I need? Since it's 60HZ I don't really care about it affecting refresh rate
