Truth. I remember as a kid I hated that show because it was so fucking boring.

Slay the Spire 2 - early access March 5th - four player coop confirmed

Latest patch nerfed the exploit that let you upgrade all your cards at once at camp. They also made it so custom mode doesn't unlock new stuff anymore. I beat Ascension 10 using custom mode + the exploit with the necromancer dude before it got patched out, so guess I'm done with game for now lol

    Windrose (PC Pirate Survival Game)

Ya, early on the combat is pretty meh. You get some starting gunpowder, but then you run out and can't use ranged until you can get more and the game doesn't make it clear off the bat how you get more. Even with ranged, it hits barely harder than your sword with your starting guns anyways...

From what I recall, basically Viltrumite eugenics. He was purposely the result of an attempt to breed the ultimate Viltrumite and then he was given tons of combat training.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Article is in Japanese, but one key takeaway is they want to move away from the current model of relic quests and do something different https://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/2097876.html

I mean in the same episode he is willing to recreate Nazi experimentation at internment camps to recreate V1, so going all out on the analogy fits

    Project Hail Mary

Boston Science Museum, before flat IMAX was a wide spread thing, had the Omnitheater. It's basically a curved dome and the seats are at an extremely steep angle. Because it is curved, it ends up enveloping even your peripheral vision and because the seats are all really steep, you don't see...

    Avatar: The Last Airbender

Theories 1) Hack/breach could involve more stuff - they might be keeping quiet to prevent further leaks while they investigate internally 2) Not squawking lets the news story die faster, meaning less people are aware of the leak

    Windrose (PC Pirate Survival Game)

Pirates bought/stole a lot of (at the time) state of the art firearms. I visited a pirate museum many years ago that had stuff recovered from the wreck - they had blinged out French pistols and stuff

    Dune Awakening

That seems like a good compromise on DD - the 2.5x yield will make it much more efficient to get spice in the PVP instance of DD, so long as you can avoid or fight off would-be gankers I am still hoping they develop PvP a bit more, though. Make it a bit more structured, make land vehicles like...

    The Astronomy Thread

That was a real concern during Apollo - NASA and the Nixon administration even had a whole plan on how to handle it should the unthinkable happen Thankfully NASA had/has a lot of extremely smart people. Think of every probe that is sent out that succeeds - the moon in comparison is cakewalk...

    For All Mankind

First few seasons they could basically take existing history/planned stuff and either tweak events or make the planned stuff happen. Now they're far enough away from the divergence point that you're just going full sci-fi

    Push mowers

I have an Ego pushmower. I got it on sale from Lowes a few years back close to the end of the season just before they start bringing in the snowblowers (forget exact price, but was hundreds off normal price). It was a self-propelled one, but honestly the thing is so light that I barely use...

    Arc Raiders

Tempest is ok- it's basically an AR that uses medium ammo. On paper other options beat it, but the psychological impact vs other players if you get in a PVP engagement can help since people in the game seem to be conditioned to run when something full auto comes out. There are some...

    The Astronomy Thread

They did have bags for poop (they had to do extra stuff to make sure the bags wouldn't bloat afterwards and some astronauts just avoided pooping rather than use the bags), but if I recall most urine was collected on Apollo using a device that would route most of it to a tank where it got vented...

    The Astronomy Thread

Not counting the smell from #2, the bigger issue would be the urine. That is going to take up way more volume and be harder to store - plus if a bag ruptures, you have a risk of liquid droplets getting into the electronics

Best theory I read on why they gender swapped Tech Jacket is they’ll have her take the place of Oliver’s lobster girlfriend from the comics (in part because that would be a pain to animate) Surprised the episode already got to that fight scene at the end. Shit gets hardcore fast lol

    Arc Raiders

Full patch notes Some big changes: 1) free kits now spawn into matches later 2) locked gate they are changing the codes - you go to a printer and get them as opposed to looting from a container. This should prevent it when someone loots a code then doesn’t use it. Bunker event also has a...

    Avatar 3 (2025)

That’s why I’m hoping they do something much different if they make a part 4. Navi on cyberpunk earth would be cool, but logistically that would be hard to pull off plotwise I think the movies as a bit of lore do have FTL communications using quantum tech. I suppose one way you could do it is...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Personally I was getting bored of WoW Classic back in 2004/2005 because raiding was becoming a job and Blizzard kept nerfing fun. I remember when I figured out how to stack shrinking effects to make my gnome literally the size of an ant - I used to use that in Warsong Gulch to sneak to the...
