Once you unlock another base class you can switch to that class and make it your main. Or you can just slot character abilities subject to the base class restrictions. They were clear about this. The only character restrictions they mentioned was the sk or pally but not both.

Hours? It'll take months upon months of hardcore play to acquire all the classes and additional months to gear them up so you can usefully swap skills.

Why would they sell classes -> the driving replay factor of the game <- when they could sell houses, potions and etc and make a lot more money.

I've got no opinion on it with respect to all games, I am merely talking about MMOs which people can play for 14 years.

The other reason I want EQ3, I think EQN will be a lot harder than anyone thinks and like Vanillla WoW will get slowly nerfed to casual play. It's a problem when you get 10 million players and 9.5 million of them are casual.
