AMC is toast. Got as far as selecting seats at one point but the whole transaction system is down now. We have a nice home theater with 9 recliners in three rows. We would absolutely pay $100 to screen it at home.

All-in-all the cast has performed exceptionally well over the years. Sure you have legends like Diana Rigg on the show, but a huge number of those actors in season 1 were complete and total unknowns. The casting director for that original pilot deserves some serious accolades.

My only reticence comes from knowing that Mikey Neumann (Scooter / former lead writer at Borderlands) probably had no hand in the development of this. I suppose its possible he worked on it before he left the company but his irreverent sense of humor is always what made the game special.

Premiered last night and the first (pilot) episode was written by Jermaine Clement and directed by Taika Waititi. Nearly all the promo material above comes from this episode but mostly from the first act, there's still lots of fun to be had and I can't wait to see the rest of it.
