Meh, I went the cheap route with my upgrade, $585 for a Ryzen 5 2600, B450 Tomahawk, 16 GB 3200 ram, and a Vega 56 with 3 games. Going to move this pc over to my wife when Zen 2 and Navi come out likely.

Just a word of warning, the TCL's larger than the 43 aren't good for PC use, something about the sub pixel patterns or something. (different panels) 43 has been great for my uses, I think any larger would be too big for desktop use anyways.

I have an ikea galant and just have the TV mounted on my wall a couple inches back. Tons of desktop space and the perfect amount of space to work. I actually went down from 3 screens to 2 with this set up and feel like I have more usable space this way. You can still play at 1080p just fine...

TCL 43 4k tv is $229 at costco, use it daily as my primary monitor now over my 120 hz screen because I don't give a shit about first person shooters.
