I'm sure they'll get things relatively finished or, at the very least, put up a convincing facade of it. I just really doubt their ability to prevent a terrorist attack. They don't exactly have a great track record of preventing those on their soil, and this is probably the biggest target...

These games are going to be so horrible. Russia has no business hosting the Olympics, both because their security is shit and the level of corruption prevents anything from getting done in a reasonable amount of time. I'm fully expecting either a) a terrorist attack, b) a venue/building to...

I'm in the "knowledge" camp of doomsday prepping. Stuff like learning how to start a fire without matches, properly filter water, shoot a gun (and hit your target), recognize edible plants, etc. It seems like that sort of preparation will serve you much better than material goods that could very...

Pizza Hut lunch buffet is awesome, but it's hard to find it around these parts nowadays. I can only think of one local Pizza Hut (out of 5 or 6) that does it, and I think it's for an hour or two during lunch time. What I REALLY miss is the KFC buffet. That was some fast food heaven.

Yeah, I have no intention of apologizing. The ability to fully use Microsoft Word's "advanced" (if you can call it that) features, such as tables of contents, cross references, heading styles, etc., is one of the biggest parts of our job description. I'm happy to help with some of the more...

I rustled a coworker's jimmies something fierce yesterday. She's constantly asking me to do simple formatting shit for her in Microsoft Word, such as making/coloring/formatting tables, headers, footers, page numbers, etc. She called me last night during the fucking Super Bowl to help her with...

I made it through the donuts, pizza, skittles, and half the bag of Doritos before giving up. So I took a 3ish hour nap, woke up, and polished off the remaining Doritos and cookies. I drank about half a gallon of milk as well, which I think is what really filled me up during that first half. I...

Chipotle is fantastic. I can't comment specifically on the barbacoa, but the chicken, steak, and carnitas are all delicious. I doubt it will compare to authentic Mexican food, but in terms of fast food Mexican it easily tanks at the top, imo. The burritos are good, although I generally get a...

That's because guys actually work out, whereas women just talk about working out. Also, when a guy "works out", he actually works. "Running a 5k" to a guy means just that, running. "Running a 5k" to a fat woman means walking and chatting for 3 hours.
