It does include enchants, but it compares as if the item you have now is enchanted as well (whether it is or not). If that makes sense.

as far as I know it makes all item comparisons as if they were gemmed (if they have a slot) and enchanted.

Not sure about that one. I don't use any of the special layouts. I have mine color the names based on role so Tanks are blue, dps red and healers green. Makes it easy to spot tanks for me.

It's actually intended that you take higher Ilvl with worse stats. That's why gem slots and enchants are so important. I just use the mr robot addon to analyze what's better. It's almost always been the higher Ilvl unless the lower one has a gem slot.

The winged hourglass is the healer inscription trinket. I think the caster one is the sandman pouch. Keep in mind you have to have the alchemy profession to wear the alchemy ones too. They are bop, so you have to make them.

Mr Robot ranks it above the inscription trinket at all stages for DPS and Heals. I'm just stoked to have a trinket I can use in both specs.

Yeah the alchemy ones. They increase heal or mana pots by 40% and proc str,int,or agi. I believe the 680 version was parsed to add about 368 str/int/agi normalized. Oh yeah they have versatility too, which is meh. Stone of Fire - Item - World of Warcraft

don't see why not. As for EF you really only want to use 3HP EF and use it basically as another Holy Light. The initial heal is the primary concern and the hot is just an extra. Again for max HPS throw it on the raid, but I do try to keep it in tanks myself.

Yeah you want to let beacons heal the tanks and focus on the raid. I started off the same way as you by spam healing tanks as well. I installed weak auras and that has really helped my throughput. I basically just use 3 to show me when HS, EF and Prism are up. That way I can always get HS on...
