I mostly don't understand why the upgrade system for "non-magic", or whatever they classify it as, weapons has to be such ass? Needing to find 12 of each level stone to get through that upgrade tier just cockblocks you randomly by 1-2 stones and makes using all those weapons a complete chore.

Just skipping ash summons in general is enough to turn almost any build in to hardmode heh, at least for a few specific fights depending on what you're doing. Just the AI fuckery that happens with a 2nd target in the arena is such a crutch it almost doesn't matter what the summon actually does...

Yea I started a 2nd playthrough rather that going NG+, but the overworld map OCD just gets to me too badly. I wound up on another like 80 hour playthrough doing every random shitty side tomb and ruins, collecting 50 additional weapons I'd literally never look twice at. I might give NG+ a try...

What have you bros been doing for ARC builds? Going through my list of weapons I'm not sure exactly how I wanna do this for NG+. The easy answer looks like what, 60DEX/40ARC or similar and just use poleblade/rivers of blood? Any of the ARC spells worth messing with besides flies for boss cheese?
