So energy system is like ArchAge a bit? What's the point of having that at all if there isn't a P2W to get more? Seems like that was the entire reason a system like that exists: drive microtransactions. Without those, what's the point of limiting the activities/time a player can play?

Yea I saw a sub is just 10% exp boost so doubt that helps much. I just do everything because it's all new but I'll be looking for the more efficient method (non-grinding) for a 2nd character, eventually. What platform are you playing on? PS4 seems to have a lot of players around on NA server...

Spoke too soon. I seem to be terrible at this game despite playing it a lot on PC back in the day and being decent at Battlefront and Destiny pvp.

I've been doing all of that AND all the quests I come upon and it still seems slowish leveling. How would doing just those things you mentioned be enough exp? This is on PS4 by the way. I notice subbing for $15/month offers "bonus exp" so maybe it's a large enough boost to allow just story...

The leveling does seem quite slow. I've done both mob grinding and questing. Questing is slightly more interesting and seemed a bit faster (plus more skill points and gear/gold).

I learned the pvp thing quick, was getting #1 before I hit level 20 easily. What's the checklist of to-do shit once you hit 40? And is there any reason to do the 26 and 30 raid? I was hoping it matched me with people but apparently not.

Could be "jboots feel slower" but they seemed to have changed some things. Either health got lowered or some weapons got upgraded (without Stat screen showing it) cause I am dying near instantaneously to things like DH17 at long ranges. Bowcaster is also still a one shot kill even with the nerf.

Two days after I grinded out the DL 44 too. Oh well, shit needed nerfing badly. Especially with the P2W aspect. I kind of like that burst/3 shot rifle more anyhow. They also nerfed: Boba fett and Han solo damage, homing shot, increased CD on many cards, bounty hunter trait, bowcaster damage...
