I'd say the cost of Hearthstone is in line or cheaper than most CCGs, and most CCGs don't even have a f2p option. The fact that you aren't going to spend money on this game, i.e. you are completely f2p, means I really don't care about your opinion.

I wouldn't play paladin without Tirion, he's a must craft if you're serious about the deck. Dr Boom is the most widely played neutral GvG legendary, Vol'Jin is probably the best class legendary. Gallywix and Neptulon are both very good, but I haven't really seen shaman or rogue decks emerging...
