I completely disagree. I killed the 1st trial on my 2nd pull (after watching a video) and the 2nd trial on my 5th. The 2nd Trial of EW was /way/ harder imo. I'm terrified of Trial 3 though.

Extremes only get put on Mentor roulette and it's extremely rare to get anything but ARR and Rathalos. That being said, the regular dungeons and trials are certainly hard enough to wreck casual players.

Yeah make sure he knows it's literally just two clicks to be able to jump to another server and a single click to come back, and is pretty much instantaneous both ways. You won't have XP buff, or be able to do things like access retainers, but the MSQ would be 100% playable with no queue.

I strongly suggest turning off mount music btw, starting Zone 3, the music for the areas are great.
