Try Vifon Pho! Not spicy. really nice. Not really ramen, though... they're rice noodles. Better for you, less calories and fat and way less of a glycemic index. But hell, this IS the fast food thread. And they are fast!

Here is the trick-- Nongshim products are tops; but they are all spicy. So, if you want a quality ramen that isn't spicy, buy the Nongshim anyway. The rest is pretty much going to be a salty broth anyway... Just add chicken/beef stock/base plus or minus a tiny bit of soy sauce and/or sesame...

I wish people would STAY in quarantine. Driving has been wonderful. At the supermarket-- shitty, generic sodas are 5/$10 (12-packs), but it clearly says "YOU MUST PURCHASE 5." 2 old Hindu woman were purchasing 2 Full shopping carts of soda! But they didn't count them out or separate them out...

PS-- Aldi should have it's own thread for Fast Foods, Frozen Foods and snacks... I have found so much amazing stuff there. True; it's not the same as a drive-through or a restaurant, but it's its own weird little niche. I found tubs of "no-bake" cookie doughs there last week. They always have...

One of my guilty pleasures is going to Aldi, getting the smoked bratwurst, grilling them and then wrapping them in 2 triangles of their crescent rolls. It means a minimum five mile run the next day, but they are so simple and so satisfying! + =

I disagree-- the spicy BLOW away the shin black in every aspect; taste, spiciness, texture. All of it... and the cups are never as good as the packages. Hell, I would rate them over most ramen restaurants ramen.... The Samyan 2x spicy is not as spicy as the shin ramyun spicy and nowhere near as...
