    Perfectly readable and understandable, in fact so much so that I'll let some other pleb figure this out o_o;;

    What do you do?

    Sorry, when I said C syntax what I actually meant was it was a variant of C. My work is all in C but my work is also all using UEFI so my code hardly resembles classic C that people would know. There are UEFI standard functions that replace all memory management, protocol installations, etc...

    My boss just got promoted to director of hardware engineering here. I wonder what that will mean for me. As far as I can tell this company is very light on middle management

    IT/Software career thread: Invert binary trees for dollars.

    I have to take a foundations of engineering class at work that all "engineers" need to take when they are hired. It's like 100 other people - 4 days at 9 hours each day. The really shitty thing is its all talk about software layers and Hadoop clusters and hive and json.. And here I am, probably...

    The Hakko is absolutely awesome, it's what I've used and I have used it for small projects and also soldering and desoldering stuff on my laptop. I've also used the Weller and it was equally as good.

    Yeah its just a bit weird because every fiber of your being wants you to flip them over. I guess all the kids in the 50s and 60s that were sleeping on their stomachs from birth somehow lived.

    What do you do?

    Well I hate that crap. I mean, they asked me about pointers at my last interview. I had been a dev for 3 years, do you think I don't know about them? Of course I flustered and forgot to dereference one, mainly because I'm a terrible interviewee. I find the questions are usually stupid. For...

    So my kid decided this week he no longer wants to be on his back. He immediately rolls and crawls. It's OK, we knew it would happen. But now when he goes down for the night I notice he rolls and lays almost face down. Like, he doesn't turn his head to the side, just kind of lays face first on...

    This game has a lot more to do with your skill level than your "class"/stats. Like it's been said, sl1 runs exist. Your skill level develops as you progress. You'll find at the end of the game that you adapt much easier to situations and bosses. I would just pick one and go that route otherwise...

    It did for me. It's just a completely smooth experience, although the car is a bit jumpy going from a stop. You only really appreciate the glory that is cvt when you drive a regular automatic.

    It doesn't matter to me, I don't need power. My Accord has enough power that I can accelerate onto the highway without killing anyone and it makes the drive smooth. Especially since I am driving in Boston. I'm not a ricer and not really into cars.

    You'll want to keep your endurance up too, you don't want your primary stats to fall behind either. Nothing like picking up an awesome weapon and realizing you need 20 more strength to wield it. Stat points are very fast early on but they slow way down later. I played for like an hour...
