DS2 I would argue is slightly easier than DS1 minus a few bosses (The Pursuer, at a low level), but I think overall it is a much better game and easily my GOTY for 2014

I play a warlock alt and my druid has only made it to 50 before giving up.

There's no gimped class in this game or anything, so it's your choice of ranged dps or druid (who can tank, melee dps, heal, and ranged dps)

A lot of times I find top DPS in a raid to be Hunters > Mages > Warriors. I only do normal and heroics though.
