Honestly, I almost never use Protego. Pretty much dodge only. For some reason I'm either timing Protego wrong, or wizards can hit you through it easily, because it seems to do fuck all. So I dodge everything. Troll fucked me up cause he'll do a chain of attacks.

I'm going to guess and say that it's specific to the area. And I only say that because every single item I get anymore is trash. The only time I get an upgrade is the unidentified stuff, which is what seems like is randomized and level scaled.

So the recommended levels on quests are definitely purposeful. Tried a level 30 one at 25, and holy shit, burned through a dozen potions. Fight was hard as fuck.

Wow, didn't even realize that's how you open those. I've got a lot of backtracking to do. I did finally get the level 1 lockpick though. Also finished up the House Tokens finally.

First trial was fun. Floor effect is super cool. Always know you're in for a good time when the game gives you seven healing potions.
