    when I go offshore, I can usually find a place to sit or stand on the rail and look at the ocean and not see anything else. No other rigs, no boats, and obviously no land. Gives me the illusion of being out there all alone. It's even better at night.

    Bro, there's not much ambiguity. Take a few breaths and reread it. It says in plain english that the player has until the next player has taken his turn. If you want ambiguity you can argue over whether that means the next player has to play a card or if drawing one is good enough.
