You mean exotic (exotics are yellow, legendary stuff is purple). Lord of wolves is nice. Huge ammo clip/reserve. Functions more like a pulse rifle than a shotgun. Much better range than the stat bar would have you think.

If I'm understanding what you're saying, you can't infuse your VoG and CE gear up, so keep it for nostalgia or shard it if you don't have vault space. The old raid gear is from year one and therefore can not be infused to higher light. Only the King's Fall gear will be infusable up to year 3.

Zhalo is the only elemental primary in year 2, so definitely great to have around. Awesome for arc burns and arc shielded enemies (and it builds your super like Bad Juju as a bonus!)

The raid needs to guarantee 310 nm and 320 hm. This randomization of raid loot light levels is stupid. Much harder to be successful in the raid than the pvp bountis/ranks with the same light rewards...and this is coming from a very very average pvper (never been to the lighthouse, or even close...

Yeah. They both got kicked when the rest of us got ported back outside when shade died. They stayed in the bubble, black screen, crash.

Oryx HM got past both shade phases, one bomb phase to go for the win...and 2 guys get kicked offline and have to reset their PS4s to get back in...never going to get this HM kill!

Im 308 with my oryx event weapons equipped (including ToM) and know the event. We had a rr crew trying him a few nights ago and we got hm oryx past the first shade portion but then we wiped and i ran out of time for any further attempts.

At 364 you can solo king's fall... On a serious note, do court of oryx. So many drops. You'll quickly get up to 290+ and can handle king's fall normal mode.

I've never seen a ghost shell from the NF, and I haven't even gotten one in the raid yet on 3 full clears (is it it 4 now?), but I want one! It's my worst slot. Most are 305-310, but my ghost is 294 blue

Got my ToM last night. The final mission was a lot easier than I expected (2 manning it first try). I'll probably try to do the final sleeper stimulant mission this afternoon, so if anyone needs it let me know and I'll keep an eye out for you when I do it.

Oh, I agree Faith, there can be good rewards in the NF, it's just not worth doing the NF now because you are almost guaranteed to get SC, 3oC, or a crappy legendary. I've done the NF only 4x total, and all 4 times I got sc or 3oC. I've yet to see anyone in my fireteam get an exotic, and I know...

Nightfalls just aren't worth doing until they rebalance the drops (mentioned as in the works in the BWU yesterday).

Finally tried the Black Spindle mission. Got to the boss room with as much as 5 minutes, got him down with 2 min left, but never could clear all the adds. So many blights kept respawning stuff before we could destroy them. Is there a different/faster/better strategy other than, ignore...

I've had that happen too where the detonation message didn't do any damage. We went back to orbit and reloaded the instance. Seemed to fix the issue.
