For leveling, B line to hollowed palm, your skills will scale with your level and you won't need to try to find/roll a good weapon. Wind blast is a good skill, damage is a bit low but it stuns/staggers a lot. Pair it with a good single target like tempest flurry.

Rolling slam with the channeled hallow form is supposed to be good since it allows you to scale its attack speed, otherwise its a default 1 second attack.

You're placing them way more than every 8 seconds. High end builds will be dropping 4-6 every couple of seconds at least.

No cost totems would have been broken. Basically a few archmage plus not having to worry about resource use or efficiency.
