Yea, I can't be mad about it. I needed a car and was like 18, how could I have known? Seemed amazing at the time.
Still though, coulda been a nice house down payment if I still had it -_-
I'm curious how the instance spawning works. Will a guild be able to pile 40 people in to lguk, get lguk2 to spawn, pile everyone in to lguk2 and get lguk 3 to spawn etc? Cascading out 5+ instances so you can run half a dozen frenzied ghoul camps?
I can do heals of whatever flavor or caster dps of whatever flavor then, which we short on? I'm not super picky, as I'm likely to roll a tank once Kunark comes anyway.
Depends on status of transfers. If they aren't available right away/in a few days then I can either do a healer, or just roll a wizard for dps/ports.
If i can i'll transfer my nec over.
Zaide put me down for some groupage this weekend. Provided the server is up Friday I can play and work at home pretty much all day, then poopsock it in to saturday at least.
Anyone want my account with my 22 nec on it I guess? Only character on it, on Ragefire. No reason letting it go to waste if I'm gonna roll on lockjaw.
edit: it has gear even, fbr, marnek, runed circle, grass bracelet, etc.
Have they said anything else about server merge/transfer options for when the population dies out? I'd rather not be stuck on a dead server ala Vulak come Kunark time.
So far it seems mostly okay, just if you're the group lead don't click the gear icon and try and assign an item to leave on corpse, that is 100% crash for me so far.
There are somewhere between 0 and 1 GMs assigned to/dealing with this server at any given time I'd wager, so the fast that it was <10 minutes for him to get banned is pretty hilarious. Someone clearly has the batphone number in TL.
The wave of tears when the normies of the server realize they will literally never get to do a dragon raid because the true poopsockers will have it permanently locked down is going to be the best thing ever.
There are certainly people to group with down at the bottom, but it still rather sucks. I started a warrior from scratch and finding groups was kind of a bitch, and even when I did I was completely useless being the only one without a sword of skyfire or whatever from kunark.
I think I had vastly under estimated just how much boxing was going to happen. Last night the newbie areas in steamfont/butcherblock were a joke, with roving bands of 4+ mage bots with pets on full aggro literally emptying the zones.
I don't know if P99 really has the player base to afford to split their users like that. Most of their population is pretty heavily invested in the current server and is doing endgame Kunark etc, with Velious on the way soon. Dunno if they could pull enough of the Ragefire crowd to really...
