Dylan Strome! Man our GM expecting plenty of LTIR cap space I guess. Lets Tampa it up.

I don't like that he's still in the Metro...but I'd like him less on the Isles or Devils for sure.

Given what Campell got, I'm pretty okay with it, especially being able to go pretty cheap at backup. I was expecting 5x5.5, or worse (term or $). 5.25 feels pretty okay if we get 3 good years out of him. Lets be honest, any window we have (if we even still have one) is closing very, very...

It's possible, I just think the playoffs is a small sample size overall, plus he was dealing with the eye injury somewhat still he suffered in Round 1. His numbers from regular season last year were actually extremely solid, and much better than Grubauer's the year before when you account for...

Charlie Lindgren at $1.1M to backup Kuemper. Yeah, cheaper than what Samsonov signed for, so makes sense.

NHL 2021-22 Season - Now A Turner Classic

Yeah I can live with $5.25. I'm not totally sold on Kuemper vs say Gibson...but don't have to trade for Kuemper, and should be able to go cheaper at backup with Samsonov gone. Is what it is, though, all aboard the Kuemper train now.

Tampa going ham. Three 8 year deals. They already have less than 5 million in cap space for next year with a bunch of spots to fill (cap might go up, though).

I would cringe at that. Of course who the heck knows what is up with Backstrom so we'll likely be in that weird LTIR space thing for most if not all of next year.

NHL 2021-22 Season - Now A Turner Classic

All the rumors saying we're a lock to sign Kuemper. I pray it's not for too much money, term, or both. I'll even live with like 5x5.

I assume he'd talk to the NFL b/c they would investigate any woman they brought in order to try to justify a long suspension. If any of them seemed like they weren't solid stories, they'd try to dig on it to figure out if they were usable so they wouldn't get made to look stupid by Watson's...

What doesn't add up? Mom originally was like "yeah he was cool to work with", son watches her change her story after the fact, calls her out on the bs. Definitely could be him just lashing out for whatever reason, but it's not super outlandish.

The fact the NFL basically pivoted away from this woman after this came out means they at least thought the son's account was credible. This was something they ended up bringing to the attention of Watson's lawyers by the sound of it...doesn't really make me believe his side less or more. With...

Likely requires recasting the main 3, though. Also they'd really need to nail the Mara Jade and Talon Karrde casting. And of course, Thrawn.

Geez, the idea we could have gotten away with giving up only a conditional 4th or 5th versus the two 3rds (one will likely be a 2nd if Wentz actually manages to stay upright this year) we gave up for Wentz is just sad.

Not Zack, at least not so far in the Remake. Would make more sense for there to be 2 Sephiroths, the one from the current time, and the post Advent Children one that has clearly traveled back to now. Either that or have Cloud and party chasing Seph while Zack and whatever party he forms up...

The reeeee over "Remake" is amusing, they literally gave interviews back in 2015 stating it wasn't going to be a 1:1 redo, and specifically that they were trying to make a "better game" than the original. Pretty great Finals all things considered. Tampa has to be applauded for what they accomplished the last 3 years, and this Colorado core can now be removed from the "can't get it done with all that talent" list. Free agency going to be interesting, no reason to think Avs won't be strong again...
