It's ironic, b/c I believe he tied for the league lead in drops for the season, too.

Crazy to think the Rams are essentially spending a $44.7 million cap hit at starting QB between Stafford's $20M hit and Goff's $24.7M in dead cap space they took on with the trade.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

The fuck did I just read? Imperial Agent story and Sith Warrior story were pretty decent. Stood out among the 8 class stories on SWTOR They don't come close to majority of 14's main story. ARR is a rough slog until you get near end of it...but a lot of that dry lore/story telling really gets...

Well given that virtually everyone is done the MSQ already and most of their farming for 6.1 that they can currently do, plus they still have 3 instances per EW zone that will go away shortly...I'm not surprised there aren't many people in any one instance of an EW zone.

More like the team took it too slow, didn't take him too long to get going with more playing time, that's for sure.

Frankly Jefferson wasn't used as much the first couple weeks last season, either. Only 3 targets in each of first two weeks and he wasn't even starting at that point. Averaged 8.5 targets a game the rest of the way.

Could make a case for Justin Jefferson up there with great rookie seasons at WR. Aside from TD's his numbers last year and Chase's this year are eerily similar. Jefferson 2020: 88 catches, 125 targets, 1400 yards, 7 TD Chase 2021: 81 catches, 128 targets, 1455 yards, 13 TD TD's do tend to...

NHL 2021-22 Season - Now A Turner Classic

I don't completely compare the Kane to Kucherov thing, because Kucherov didn't play a single game of that regular season and had surgery December 29th. Kane got hurt midseason with a broken clavicle he needed surgery on to repair, and that was Feb 25th in a normal year when playoffs start mid...

I think it does matter if it's a gloved punch, we see that happen in scrums all the time get nothing. I know it was to a goalie, which is weird that it means so much more simply because they are wearing a mask that offers more protection from something like that as well...but to me it's more a...

6 games for Marchand, which is basically the minimum for an in person hearing since those are for suspensions of 5+ games.

    Blizzard dies and Bobby rides

Something I probably missed out on coming back to WoW so late in Legion. I was never a big alt guy either. I mainly just liked the different class stories and artifact quests.

Don't know if I would say order halls made it worse. Order halls were one of the best things about Legion for me. But I didn't play until the final patch of Legion, and never messed with WoD when it was current, so my experience may have been vastly different.

    Nightmare Alley (2021)

7.5/10 for me. I'll echo others that the whole first hour plus to two hours is great stuff, loses a little steam towards the end. The actual final scene was good, though.

NHL 2021-22 Season - Now A Turner Classic

Going to be honest...a gloved punch to the mask and a little messing with him with the stick isn't worth 5+ games. Maybe I'm just old school, but seems like a massive overreaction to it being against a goalie. This is more the 1-2 games tops for me and probably better handled by Pittsburgh...

    Final Fantasy VII Remake

Ahh, yeah there are some who equate Midgar being the first 4-6 hours of the original game meaning that every 4-6 hour section will get its own part. Logic be damned. I pretty much agree I'd expect 3 or 4 parts total. Maybe it never gets finished, though, as some predict. I wouldn't bet on...

    Final Fantasy VII Remake

That doesn't make much sense, unless they really go for smaller/shorter parts to get them out faster with less downtime in between. Don't expect much else of the game to get "expanded" nearly as much as Midgar was.

Safe to assume Part 2 will not be the final part. Most have been assuming/predicting 3 or 4 parts since well before Part 1 ever came out.

The Lovie Smith hire thing is funny, not sure why Flores has to make any statement on it other than pointing out Smith likely got the job because of him going over the top and burning mad bridges.

I agree completely that win/loss isn't usually effective looking at small sample sizes, especially. Nor am I picking Jimmy G over Smith, at least KC era Smith. But Smith's playoff record leaves a lot to be desired as well.

Smith's stats pumped up by 2 shootouts, ironically one he won (sick ass game v Saints, 36-32), and one he lost the epic Andrew Luck 45-44 comeback (although Smith and the offense did their D no favors in the 2nd half at least...but really how does the D give up that lead). 7 of his 14 career...

    Final Fantasy VII Remake

It really depends if they're looking to make it 3 parts total or 4. I think expecting Part 2 to only go to Junon isn't likely, unless they're really serious about the "smaller parts to get them out faster"...although it not making it out until 2023 would kind of make that really dumb. On the start, didn't help they lost Tua for 3-4 games early in the year. Not that I'm the biggest believer in Tua, but hadn't even started a full season's worth of games at that point, going to need reps. Brissett didn't look good as their backup at all.

"always" just the last couple years, and he's hardly the only guy to miss it the last ~5 years. Honestly could care less about the all star game, it hasn't been fun to watch for a long time (arguably before Ovechkin was even in the league). I'm quite happy if he wants to take the break and...

When you realize that Flores is probably right...but at 0-7 in 2019, he probably should have walked his way to an extra $900k and Joe Burrow versus going 5-4 down the stretch and ending up with Tua.
