ARR is a bit different than the rest for some of it's raids b/c there was such a difference in power level from the ilevel 50 people did that stuff originally in versus being in ilevel 130 stuff by the end of ARR (which is what I think it syncs you down to).

Honestly I let my sub run out awhile ago, but why would people have been playing a few weeks ago but suddenly aren't now? It was pretty boring by the time I quit, I can't imagine it being teeming with people still that close to 9.1 unless they were solely trying to clear the raid or something...

I will say that while the socket system sounds like set bonuses, I thought the actual "return of class sets/bonuses" wasn't actually happening until 9.2. That isn't to say the new system can't be judged on its own, just that it likely isn't their actual "return to sets" they promised.

Wouldn't most of the potential hesitance in the fight scenes be from the TVA people having the batons that Loki thinks will erase him from existence if he is touched by it? Not to mention his magic not working inside the TVA so assuming potential physical enhancement might not exist in there...

Yeah at the start he couldn't even get out of the little elevator mini zone in Limsa b/c it was congested every time he tried to leave. Same thing trying to zone back into the city the first time, took multiple tries for him due to congestion. I'm sure by 15 a lot of the crowd died down.

Yeah even with extra materia slots, each piece only has a max amount you can meld to. I think the GP meld cap is ~868. You'd need food buff to hit 900.

There's no real purpose to go that high, there's a potential set without food that lets you hit every potential bonus even in Diadem with 2742 gather, 2647 perception, and 858 gp. Obviously with food you can push that gp over 900, but haven't seen any real need for that
