If you think you've got a couple heroes nailed down, don't be scared to just jump into normal games. Watch some pro streams here and there and spectate friends who play the same roles you do who have been playing more and talk to them.

There's limits though. Like spending 3 hours of your night waiting for the 20 minute marker and not going afk before it so you don't get reported.

The battlegrounds (were supposed to) push territorial control, unlock access to attack fortresses and ultimately the city if you took 2/3 fortresses. So it wasn't (was because it didn't work for months) totally pointless. Plus, I thought the PvP and progression was kinda fun.

Promotion series 3/5 games with 2 people leaving /never loading into game (always my team!). Best to realize its a marathon, not a race and just play it like unranked but sticking to my best heroes. We'll see how long it takes for me to lose it again with ranked lol.

Talked to a few pals and I can't argue with 3 flat ADs (red), rest armor pen for him. Flat AD quint, flat armor yellow (duh) and attack speed blue.

So I picked up Noct and I've learned you can cast Q during his ult, and when your ult connects after that lands, it receives the damage bonus. Not sure if that was known by all but the burst is noticable and quite filthy. I'm finding good old fashioned armor pen to work out better on average...

This talk of "players discovering a spell that could completely alter the world" seems to cater to the best experiences being for spell casters... pure ones at that. Hopefully I can big the huge epic as fuck troll warrior swinging blindly at someone/something and chopping down trees along...

Perma stealth is OK but only so long as its not IMPOSSIBLE to deal with someone if you too aren't a stealther. Glimmers when they move etc sound great to me. I think that's a pretty fair and objective way of looking at it.

I think CC/AoE needs to be powerful for combatting the zerg. An unorganized zerg of 300 should be able to fall to a skilled, organized force of 150. That's not to say an organized force of 300 shouldn't be more powerful than an organized force of 150, though. Too many PvP games allowed...

One of our testing points was ensuring that the F9 views and the camera returning to where it started if you panned around and let go of the mouse button. People played in first person for a reason... and it was certainly immersive. Mouse wheel to zoom out does not work in first person...

I just like Poppy in dominion really as AP. She's good for banging people into towers late game and can definitely pull some shit off top lane. I just feel like smart play can counter her too hard and she needs something else..
