If you can get an Aug with the 5.56 ammo conversion, it can put in some work. I had a legendary blueprint for one called the Leecher or something? 60 round drum. Can fit longer barrel on it for range if needed, but that thing can shred in close to medium engagements.

MP7 with 60 round ammo upgrade is nuts. You do need some attachments though to make it viable over some range, though. But up close it just shreds. Aug with the 5.56 sixty round upgrade is pretty nasty, too. You can put extended barrel on it for range, as well.

I feel like that's much more a thing in the gulag. But yeah, the only thing I think is rough is with the crossplay and latency differences, there's just stuff that happens on your screen that isn't the same in opposing players death cams, and vice versa. Where you can't see someone at all but...
