I'd wager part of the difference is because JJ gets a lot of credit for building/starting the Cowboys little dynasty, whereas Seifert took over for an already existing one.

Agreed, just noting that there was basically 2+ Super Bowl worthy teams in the NFC for about 15 years straight.

No guarantees, NFC was still stacked (just like it was for virtually all of the 80's and through the mid 90's). But they would have been in the mix for sure.

Agreed, although they scored to make it 24-7 right after going down 24-0 so the momentum was already slightly changing. But I agree don't give them short fields if you can avoid it.

True but KC handed them the exact same fuck ups. blocked punt returned for a TD, punt return fumble by Hill. I don't know how you make up for 7 straight TD drives, though.

Texans fans will think they blew a big lead in this game (and they did), but really this game flipped once KC receivers just started actually catching the ball.
