Not very comparable, really. Unless Shula had resigned and went to coach college shortly after Marino's SB appearance, along with half of the team's stars retiring/etc in a complete collapse of basically the entire franchise. Was actually thinking about this when reading the stats of Pats' 8th...

I hate this quote, though. Idea behind it is some marginal call you'd be relying on in order to win. Sometimes everything is going to come down to one play, and it would be great if everyone involved played it legally and it was just down to whether the athletes on the field were able to make...

I'm okay with them keeping the "penalty" challenge if they get it right. Not to say I've completely lost faith in NFL officiating...but wouldn't shock any of us if they blew multiple calls of this magnitude in one game at this point.

I still think we're getting a great Super Bowl, I mean that was a lock before the games even started, imo. It's just fun to think of the other combos we almost could (or should) have had in Brees v. Brady, or Goff v. Mahomes.

That's my point, granted I was out all day for the games yesterday watching at a bar, so I didn't get to read/catch up on the real time posts in here when it happened. I'm just betting if roles were reversed, you would have had a pretty bad meltdown over it...justifiably, too.

2019 NFL Offseason: Chargers Started Early

Didn't a bunch of Eagles come out today and say this was basically bs? I'm not sure which is actually better though, team with internal turmoil over the Wentz/Foles debate or Philly media actually sabotaging their own team.

Rams are a great team, and there's every chance if they have home field (although LOL LA fans) they win a game against the Saints by a couple scores. But LOL when refs fuck up a call that badly every single person watching the game would have done a better job on that play.

2019 NFL Post Season Thread - Rams vs. Patriots for SuperBowl

I agree 100% it should be greater than a few extra minutes...I can just see tons of scenarios where it isn't some blatantly missed call, and we then end up with a potentially even worse scenario, coaches challenging plays that are just so minor one way or the other judgement calls. Shit might...

The air from the hand coming down might have brushed his facemask. It wasn't close, and it was just a terrible call that Brady got because he's Brady. Agreed it wasn't AS bad as the Saints call, just because it didn't occur as late/in a situation where it virtually would have set up the ending...

Just worry how much this will slow the game down. Honestly the Pats/Chiefs game took so long in the 4th quarter already with the reviews they had of the potential fumble on the punt and the couple catches they had to look at again. I do agree though that there has to be a way for penalties as...

Honestly none of this makes up for how big of a blown call that was. Not just for the obvious right there everyone is looking at it, but the situation as well. 3rd and 10, call would give them a 1st down with ~1:45 and Rams only with 1 timeout. You literally run it 3 times and kick a field...

Considering if your palm even hits Brady in the chest it's a 15 yard flag to help extend a drive...might not want to be hitting Brady too much.

Give kudos to an actor you can't stand

I don't consider Cena an "actor", not really, yet. As for Keanu, I heard that his total gross he "made" for the Matrix movies was something over $100 Million, yet donated like $85 million of that to the special effects people that worked on the movies because he felt they're the ones who really...

I definitely was trying to give it some credit, until it got terribad. My main issue was that some of the complaints were on a level that was even dumber than how bad the show actually was. Crying about why the cops would be waiting for Ray at his kid's school (the most obvious place they...

Could make the same claim about the Chiefs defense. if they played like they did last week, they could easily win. But I do agree there is a potential for this to be a pretty high scoring game that would be a lot of fun to watch.

I do think Foles brings an element to the Eagles offense that Wentz (this year at least coming off the ACL) didn't. It feels like he pushes the ball downfield more. Jeffery seems to become the primary target whereas Ertz is with Wentz in. Not that both aren't great players, it's just a...

Gotta remember for a certain age group, Cowboys were the bandwagon team with 3 SB's in 4 years back in the mid 90's. Couple that with all the America's Team bs, and there you go. Yankees dominance around end of the 90's very similar, Bulls too during the 90's.

Guess I'll have to disagree. Especially with changes WoW made to some stuff off GC, FF14 combat feels fine to me with all the off global stuff to weave in. Feels like you're trying too hard to downplay the visual effects as well. You can break down WoW's stuff to "lotsa particles" if you...
