No idea why, but the PS4 version popped yesterday in my Amazon recommendations. Which is kind of weird (given that I've never ever purchased anything PS3 or PS4-related on Amazon)
That's weird. Because once I reached level 2, I took the quest from Khadgar and the first mission popped up 24h later.
All missions seem to pop 24 or 36h after the end of the previous one. And no, you don't need to sea to be clear, my 3rd or 4th mission (the one in the SW) popped while the...
Apparently, the team "couldn't make the story click". Meaning someone thought he couldn't stomach Grommash being bad. Or that, once they wrote the legendary cinematic for 6.1, no one thought an involuntary corrupted Grommash would work, and they didn't had time to fix the legendary cinematic...
With things that have fungible infinite amount of "xp" you can afford a refund mechanic that gives you back 90 or 80 or maybe less skill pts when you drop the skill. Something you can't do with discrete skill points.
But a respec assume a skill ceiling, i.e. a maximum total amount of skills...
Fun 6.2 fact of the day: Take the weekend bonus quest "do 5 apexis bonus areas" from Seer, notice the quest says 5/5 complete but the "?" is still grey, interact with another NPC, receive a completion message, turn in, weekend over.
Yea. That lasted the first week, and half of the raid looted stuff with PL or bonus rolls, and now they worry about duplicate stuff already. So I guess this week it's ML again.
Tier loot is back into the loot pool, previously it was extra loot added on top on non tier drops.
Suggestion to our raid lead was that the first week or two, we'd do personal loot because all of the loot would be useful to someone and thus we'd get more, then back to standard ML.
Actually, the mission completion scroll "not working" is a side effect: any mission that was generated before the hotfix to mission time can't be completed; only new ones. If you try a completion order on an older mission, you may get anything from completing to nothing to adding an additional...
I doubt the vendor will sell you a partially upgraded, say to 768, ring if you have one. He'll happily sell you the 735, which you can then upgrade. As well.
They could have implemented it using the same mechanic as the heirloom, which upgrade your "template". But I suspect this particular...
It does, once you no longer really need the reputation.
I can see the logic behind it. You use lots of treasures to cap your daily quota fast early on, and by the time you really need all 10 rares every day, why, you have one "bonus" every 15mn.
Of course, once I'm at revered cap, I'm not...
It's probably as rare as an epic world drop.
Fun fact of the day: They plugged the exploit of getting quick level 2 shipyard. The upgrade quest now starts at 0 and does not count any missions done before.
There's still people out there that apparently don't believe it's the last significant patch until next expansion, despite all the signs
Big Legion baddy down.
All titular Warlords down (or "saved", or snatched away).
The end cinematic leaves little doubt.
The Ring switches color to...
I have the Trade post (+20% faction? who are you kidding?) and I WOULD go Lumber Mill AS WELL if the Mill didn't want me to go in completely different area to farm trees for 20-30mn (depending on luck and competition) to fuel it. I may still do it, it depends on how I can balance the needs of...
Nope. Consider the numbers of MMO that came after (except the semi open-ended AC) that had 50 levels "like EQ", or 60 "like EQ with Kunark" just after. At a time where all MUDs had 99 levels! With REMORT!
I'm half convinced the only reason GW2 has 80 levels is because WoW had 80 levels when...
The entrance to Mana Tombs is particularly harsh if you're not careful. Pull one group too many, tank goes from max to 0 in 1s.
The first boss is also funny.
"Hey guys, I remember, when he shifts stop dps because..."
Pandemonius shifts to the void.
Tank dies
Rogue dies
Mage has 5% left...
If your shipyard is full, you can select a ship and the 2nd option on the menu is Decommission. It destroys the ship, and you can then build a new one. It's unlike the garrison proper: you can't have more ships than allowed, you need to decommission one to build a new one.
Epic transport is...
Yes, you do. Although, if you're not in any hurry, you COULD do without farming beyond getting honored with Hand/Headhunters to unlock your Battleships : you do get missions for fuel regularly, so your fleet can operate at a very slow rate, but can.
What you can't avoid is unlocking the main...
WoW is not a franchise. Warcraft IS a franchise, with 5 games (3 strategy games, 1 MMORPG, 1 Card game, all of which are big successes), a collectible card game, several tie-in novels, a tabletop RPG, comics and manga, a movie, etc.
Gone. Don't go on an orgy of equipment swap needlessly. It really takes planning to swap equipment: you need to figure out which equipment isn't going to be needed for a while, and which will be most used, then start missions based on that.
With the Inn nerf, I'm half tempted to replace the...
The cinematic leave little to doubt that this is the end of this expansion. There's no unexplored area left, the legion is repelled, alt-Guldan is called by the Legion (to make alt-Lich King instead of Ner'zhul since we slaughtered him early in a dungeon?), and Yrel says "we rebuild, but I'm...
Didn't even try. Everyone in my guild stuffs the auction parts in the guild bank, and whoever does pvp usually picks them when they finish their pvp part. Being on a PVE server means the PVP part is the most rare.
The only one that can be arguably "better" is the one that digs sprockets as well as ore. There's no other tools that allow you to get those.
It's not something major, but still.
1Q5 earnings for GW2 are 18 million $, for an unknown (but roughly estimated 1 million) regular players. That means that the GW2 players spends an average of around 6$ a month. Not quite sub numbers, but still.
Probably. Basically all the content is designed and implemented, there's just a few fiddly bits of fine-tuning to do. The extra stuff is already pushed to a 6.2.X. The release is merely deciding that enough fixes have made it out of the bug tracker, and the rest will be hotfixable.
Yea, the problem with being able to trade Primal for Felblight would be that some, like me, would instantly have enough to upgrade our 3 crafted items to max. Since they announced to reduced costs, I've been stockpiling primals, and I have between 900 and 2400 per alt (9 alt total).
For the same reason they dropped enchant on almost all slots and took out multi-gem slots. The problem was that you got a new drop, and you didn't equip it until it was gemmed, enchanted AND reforged. And you could gem and enchant on the spot with your guildmates having stuff, but not reforge...
Yep. My only alt with a heartstone sets to Ashran is a mage, because he has TP to everywhere else. The others are almost all set to the Pandarian shrine, which gives them quick access to everywhere.
