    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

This assumes we shut you out the rest of the way. Which is completely unlikely, and Gruden seems to agree with it trying that onside kick.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Fuller on Dez, that can only end well.
  3. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

    Whitner is a goddamn moron.
  4. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Way to show no confidence in your D. Although I pretty much share his opinion.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Not at all, b/c it only is required if they give up 7. If they just kick the initial XP to make it 17-13, even giving up a FG makes it 20-13 and you just need TD+XP. If they score a TD, it's 24-13 and THEN you would do the 2 when it makes the most sense to to try to tie in 2 possessions that...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

See if our defense can not be shit and give us a chance.
  7. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

    Well...that was something.
  8. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

TD+2 point conversion, then a field goal to tie. No?
  9. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Not moot at all, 12 point game means we need 2 TD's.
  10. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

And now it'll be a 12 point game which means you have to have 2 TD's because we didn't kick the XP.
  11. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Why? If you miss (and we're 0 for 3 on the season now) you're locking yourself into having to go for it again (even if DAllas wasn't going to get points on this drive, another TD makes it 18-17, and you're going for 2 again to make it a 3 point game, when 2 XP's would do the same thing)
  12. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Dumb going for 2. Just stupid.
  13. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I mean, they did miss the 40 yard PI when Jackson was getting held on our previous drive too.
  14. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Whatever we're doing with our formations on runs...they know it's coming every time.
  15. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Terrible screen call. Even worse decision to throw it.
  16. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I haven't been completely sold on Gruden giving up the play calling to McVay, and the red zone play calling has been consistently shitty all year. Although I'll admit we can look like world beaters between the 20's.
  17. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Kelley had 3 TD's last week, against one of the better run D's in the league. We can run it in the red zone, we just like to waste downs with terrible fade calls or wildcat formations we haven't used once all year.
  18. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I'd give them all the credit...except red zone ails literally been our issue all year. We're top 3 I believe in red zone chances, bottom 3 in TD % for the year.
  19. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Our offense is fucking nails between the 20's.
  20. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

This is our season in a nutshell, cross midfield on every single offensive drive, come away with so little. Dallas just been way more efficient so far.
  21. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Refs must feel bad for us.
  22. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Welp, feeling like another game where we out possess and out gain the opposing team while settling for too many FG's (and not even making them)
  23. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Yeah that throw to Beasley was dropped in there perfectly.
  24. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Sigh. Lets just drop potential point saving picks.
  25. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Might be time to sit Fuller. He's just getting beat every play.
  26. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

He's got whatever Cousins had in Week 2.
  27. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

2 drives each, Yards: 130-70 Skins, Time of Possession: 10:55-5:01 Skins Red Zone: Fucking fail, Cowboys 7-3.
  28. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

And another concussion for Jordan Reed...don't know why they felt like wasting 2 plays in the red zone before that one.
  29. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

It's what we need to do. Big plays will be there all day, but I worry about our D being out there too long.
  30. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

    That could have been PI.
  31. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

    Or that happens.
  32. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Can't afford to be kicking field goals when the D is going to give up 7 more often than not.
  33. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Missing tackles will kill you. Watching Kerrigan and Murphy the last 5 days lose contain on QB's they know can move (Rodgers/Prescott) is just silly.
  34. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

My body is ready. Just give the offense a fighting chance D.
  35. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

When you gave up a 1st and a 4th for that.
  36. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

    Lol at Aretha Franklin ToP.
  37. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Just Simms Things: "It's almost like watching the same team on both sides". Yeah, one team carried by their D, one carried by their QB. Completely the same, Phil.
  38. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I actually thought it was a pretty legit call (if we're talking about the PI). Called that shit out live as it happened, plenty of contact and holding. The angle they showed on the replay was horrible for showing all the contact.

You can't help it, people literally have to work it in and say it all the time. It's the best name in the NFL. I truly hope at some point he's Head Coach Jim Bob Cooter
