    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Haha, it's just been a thing this year. He made some noise early in the year about not getting the ball enough but then has had some drops when we have looked his way. Also it's a big thing after this year with both him and Garcon becoming free agents. With Cousins likely getting a big deal...

N/m, you good Desean. Keep it going.

I feel like Jerry likes Romo enough to consider him not wanting to go somewhere shitty as well. Of course, if the Browns came with a king's ransom of picks he might bite anyways.

This was a story from today, FWIW Browns are honing in on Tar Heels QB Mitch Trubisky in the 2017 NFL Draft

Not a great start as far as winning the battle of getting more pressure on Rodgers than they do on Cousins. Kind of wish Jackson had sat out again though if he's going to drop balls like that.

If they fuck up another high 1st rounder it's going to be pathetic.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Skins gotta hold serve tonight, Eagles may have blown the "everyone above .500" thing today but Cowboys and Giants still plugging away. Also gotta say above the Vikings for the WC2 spot.

    Jooka. Elite as fuck.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Worst last 2 plays ever by Miami.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Goff already with more TD drives than Rams had all of last week.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Yeah, and Giants get the Browns next week after having the Bears this week. Impossible to gain ground in the Beast.

    Goff on fire Daez! Heh.

    Sigh. Catler.

One time Cutler. Of course even if they score, they'll probably miss the XP and lose in OT.

Apparently that's the only penalty they will call on Dallas though

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Cowboys give a gift with that

Deliver Cutler, give me some good news today.

    9 XP's missed today

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

#1 defense in the league starting to bend and break. So much for hoping they could come through.
  21. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Last year I'd say he played elite. Only 3 QB's threw for 30+ TD's last year and were around or better a 4:1 TD:Int ratio... Brady, Wilson, Rodgers.
  22. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Well you linked Winston's passing yards last year and asked who was below that. Maybe you were implying something other than I thought you were.
  23. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I'll chuckle if Goff ends up throwing for 2+ TD's in a win and Fisher goes super troll mode in his presser. 5-5 through 10 games? Magic.
  24. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

All true, I just quoted a post trying to portray Wilson as below Winston because Winston managed 18 more passing yards in 52 more passing attempts last season. I felt we could go deeper.
  25. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Jooka, any response to my thoughts on Wilson? Yay/nay?
  26. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

This is known. I was just trying to point out the reasons why you can't just use the "barely over 4k yards" argument. Of the 12 guys who threw for 4k+ last year, only 1 guy had less than 535 attempts...Wilson, who had only 483.
  27. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Bite your tongue. Ravens are finding a way to win today.
  28. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Can't keep track of what everyone's definition of "elite" is. I agree he was propped up by an incredible defense and running game at the start of his career (and probably for his first Super Bowl). He's evolved since then. We're talking about the guy who led the league in passer rating last...

1st and 30. Ravens give it up.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Is good Cutler playing today? Keep it up Bears
  31. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Stop the run and force 3rd and long...it's kind of the formula to make any QB look rough, though.
  32. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I only remember the guy right below him went over 4k yards with 52 less attempts. Please stop being a moron.
  33. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Let me dream. Hope everyone on both teams get banged up.
  34. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Watching Ravens and Cowboys fans go at it on the week they play is just fantastic.
  35. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Gotcha, just weird to see him just get his $20M a year + deal this past year after missing the playoffs 3 years in a row.
  36. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

So are we counting the cap number in those big years then? Thought his average salary/year on that deal was slightly over $15M a year.
  37. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Curious what Bubbles point about the $20M mark and guys winning rings after signing for it. Eli didn't start making $20M+ per year until last year, no? They haven't even made the playoffs since their last title. Eli is also the super weird playoff QB. 8-0 in 2 Super Bowl winning years, 0-3...
  38. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I'm betting NFL is finally starting to realize (or at least believe) that they're reaching full saturation point in the US. In their mind the falling ratings are probably just a product of that, and their natural response is to try to open up new areas of interest/revenue. I just don't think...
  39. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

No it died back in like '07? Was more of a developmental league anyways. I was thinking an actual new division. Just don't think only one team in London would work well at all.
  40. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Are they going to have a training complex stateside then? And "homes" away from home in London? Otherwise they're still flying back and forth each week. Shit would be rough. Unless they find a way to do an entire NFL Europe division I just can't see it, even then it stretches travel out...
