I was kind of hoping Romo would get traded to Denver before the deadline...followed by a Dallas/Denver Super Bowl where Romo would break Cowboy hearts with a lot of yards in garbage time, followed by a game winning pick to Sean Lee who is then stripped and recovered by Denver and returned for...

So Romo to Denver in the offseason?

Really Moon, all they had to do was show up against the Browns. Don't get Steelers being favored at all over Dallas, though. Pittsburgh might be decent against the run, but Packers were #1 and we saw how that turned out. Unless they think Ben is going to miraculously heal up from where he was...

NFL needs to take a look at what the NHL does with the War Room for reviewing calls. That shit at the end of the 1st half was just pants on head retarded. I don't understand how officiating just seems to get worse and worse.

That's weird, since Detroit is 5-4 (guess 4-3-1 technically better pct). But this is what happens when not all teams have had their bye and random ties are thrown in. But all the NFC wild card teams have been losing. Detroit lost last week, Philly lost 2 in a row, Green Bay lost 2 in a row...

Raiders impressed the shit out of me last night. Thought they were solid Wild Card material but now they are right there to win that division, even with Denver and KC. Funny thought, Eagles and Ravens both started 3-0, both have lost 4 of 5 since then to drop to 4-4. Ravens on top of their...

I figured we'd be able to throw the ball if they made good adjustments in the interior blocking, I just never expected to put up that rushing number.

Oh no, I agree. But the players on the field were making plays, as well. One of the few all around good games Matt Jones has had running the ball. Defense played fantastic, but again, the games they've looked good is when the pass rush is actually getting home...and they were doing it from...

Less about being predictable I think and more just we established our pass rush early. Kerrigan ate your backup RT alive that game, and we managed to run it all over you guys (most surprising thing about that game). Agree on the WR's though, it's an issue going forward.

Still strange if he wanted that much money (and you know someone would have paid it in the offseason) why they didn't just let him walk after the season and pick up likely the same compensatory pick for him...but still get the 2nd half of the season with him on the team.

I mean, I agree, but when you're a team captain, and it's happened before to you...not what you want out of a team captain and underrated as one of the most important players on the roster. Hurts when we're facing the toughest stretch of our season next, as well.

Speculation is he missed a test because he had smoked though. For a guy who plays through as much as he does, I'm sure he likes to smoke a little here or there.

And Brady has 1,319 yards and 12 TD's in 16 quarters. Jimmy G with the slightly better yards/quarter (although he missed the final 2 after they went up big, probably would have ran the ball a little more), but Brady has the better TD's per quarter.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Actually Brady's numbers are still a little superior. And he's already done it over a sample size twice as long as Jimmy G.

I wasn't saying I disagree, just that I'm not sure what the mindset of voters would be. When it's a vote for who is considered the most valuable player, I wouldn't be giving a nod to a unit like the O line by voting for Zeke. I'd have to weigh what he did and how much of it was his ability and...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Guess it depends on who's voting. Some might see a vote for Zeke as a nod to the O line, others might think he shouldn't get as much credit because he's doing what he's doing behind that O line.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Zeke might have a chance if he rushes for over 2k. Problem there is everyone is always going to give the O line a lot of the credit. Although truthfully, they clearly would deserve some of it.

This is true, and like you noted lets see how he does against Denver, but by any measure he's just destroying it. Obviously he's not going to throw 0 picks the whole year. At least...probably not.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I mean, right now Brady is on pace to just missing throwing for 4k yards (3,957)...in only 12 games. With 36 TD's and 0 picks. While completing over 73% of his passes.

Pats I know will get to play Denver, which will be fun to watch (that damn sure better be a primetime game). And I mainly meant Ryan was killing the rest of the league with his efficiency stats (passer rating, QBR)..and Brady has so far taken those numbers that were beating the shit out of...

Thanks for the shout out Ambi :) Skins did run up 432 yards of offense that day, and have a much higher chance of winning if Cousins doesn't throw that pick in the end zone. Although I think the Cowboys have gotten a lot better since that game, so Thanksgiving will be a lot of fun. Any...

Don't think the Eagles are that much ahead of the Wild Card pack (and it's huge in the NFC). But agreed that Dallas and Atlanta look like best in the NFC at the moment. Agree on NE and Denver, think next tier has Steelers (when Ben is healthy), Raiders, and Chiefs. Chargers offense good...

This is what gives me hope against the Vikings for the Skins. Vikings' O line isn't great at all, and the few times our D has looked decent this year is when the pass rush is getting home. I feel like our offense can put up some yards and points even against their D too.

I remember a couple high balls that were dropped, like I said, you'd still want your receivers to catch those, but they weren't perfect throws. Wouldn't be surprised if you guys were calling the Bears about Alshon today. I just hope the price is too high.
  39. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Some of those drops were on throws that were pretty high. Probably still should catch them, but Wentz wasn't hitting guys in the numbers on every throw all night.
