Yeah, this would have made more sense. Like Kylo, Vader had taken a bowcaster bolt to the side and a lightsaber slash before he fought Luke. Vader had also just killed his father. Also, Kylo is the Chosen One and is basically perceived as powerful as fuck among all Force users ever.
