No I hear you, I just thought you were crazy to predict no Game 7's in Round 1. Seems like there's always 2-3+ Game 7's in Round 1. In Ovechkin era, Caps have played in 9 playoff series...7 of them have gone to a Game 7. Only 2 that didn't occurred in the same year too. Expect anything...

People forget though, we put up a ton of goals in the first 4 games (granted, it was Price that played Game 4)...he was just magnificent in Games 5-7. Of course, one waved off Ovechkin goal for Mike Knuble causing air to blow past Halak in 3rd period of Game 7 sure helped.

I know Fleury was pissed about that goal, but no way he can be faulted for this playoff exit. He was great all series. All 5 games decided by 1 goal. Pens might have gone down in 5, but it was a lot closer than that.

I'm torn...I want Pens and Rags to beat each other up for 7 games, but I can't not hope the Pens suffer soul crushing defeat in OT while the home crowd roars approval.

I can only imagine how much better the Caps would be if Mcphee hadn't been a fucking idiot and traded Forsberg for Martin Erat. (although we did get Latta as well, but 4th liner hardly makes up for it)

Clearly Tavares is allowed to cover the puck with his hand, leading to the opening goal. Since he noted how the Isles know how to play within the rules, and always do so, this was obviously allowed for him.

Yes. They won Game 2 coming back from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits, I'm sure it's entirely possible they can manage to win a game that is 1-1 after 20 minutes.
