Yep, I am getting too old and cranky. I am staying with this only because of BBT, Sam, and possibly Andy performances. The rest of this show has literally some of the laziest writing imaginable. I will STFU until the season finale, but please please be better.

I will admit, I am pleasantly surprised by this. Not really knowing the main actor, I find this story quirky and refreshing.

Opinion on season 2: Dinner scenes are the weakest part of most episodes. It was clear Demi would have more of a role, assuming they didn't just pay her to swim all season. BBT and a few of the actors are solid...

Vince got me interested, the story is unique. I am in, first two were good enough for me.

I enjoyed it very much, great acting and a story I didn't quite know. (As I mentioned before) It made me look up stuff, which is always good. I would recommend.

2 Episodes in and I am enjoying. Tons of great acting, and telling a story that isn't really told that much. If you enjoyed "Manhunt" for example, this is a good watch along.

Yeah, I am sure it will all come out. I really enjoyed Daniels stuff, as a novice non good chess player. He was a good link to the general public. I have watched the Kramnik bullying for years, like many. Either way, it was cold of Kramnik to be like @!$% you 8 minutes after his death.

10 min into this I was like "This is Peaky Blinders" not knowing it's the same creator. Not a bad show all around, but nothing that hasn't been done before. Give it a shot if you are bored.

I agree on FOH reviews. Generally, I will throw out the normal complaints and tend to find a nice middle ground that helps me decide to go or wait.

I agree with the points here . The journey itself to Michelin would have been interesting to see if they focused on the staff and restaurant. I am sure they didn't have a great plan past season 2, probably not expecting the demand.

Good enough season for sure. The acting outshines the plotline, in my opinion. Normal "stretch your belief" issues that are with most shows, but worth a watch.

Missing the last few seasons, but still curious if the storylines are better? Personally, I don't care about the other issues. I am just curious how the actual story is progressing, are they setting up anything big?

Yeah, it seemed they went a season (or maybe two) past their prime. No complaints overall, had some fantastic moments.

They are doing a good job of building the drama without any actual violence. Tom Hardy rarely does anything more than stare and quietly talk, which I think helps when he actually does something. I am interested for sure, and wonder where it will all lead.

Personally, I am not a fan of the "Slow-mode/Speed-up" style combat scenes. But the last couple of episodes were ok, I will try next season.
