To give Aftermath a little credit, the distant scavenging part of the game is very simple in Endzone whereas it's pretty much a second game in Aftermath. Definitely think I prefer Mars though.

It's so trivially easy to have enough renegade or paragon rating to unify the two species that most people never see the two bad resolutions on Rannoch. The other bad resolution is Tali shoots Legion in the back of the head and his species gets wiped out.

The admiralty committed the entire Migrant fleet to the attack on Rannoch. If you don't persuade/intimidate the Quarians into coexisting with the Geth then one of the two species must be destroyed. If you prevent Legion from disseminating the upgrade to the collective, the Geth are exterminated...

This is why time travel is ultimately a fucking terrible plot device. How was she even a variant? Was the fact that she was a female Loki at all what made her a variant? If so then why did it take 5 years for her to generate a nexus event? Are those little reset charges supposed to be so...

It doesn't have to be romantic, it could just be the very first time Loki has felt a deep personal connection to another person and that is so profoundly out of character for a Loki that it triggered that deviation on the timeline.
