Seems like she'd be the narrator and not the main character? Moraine could be the main character for Eye for most of it I guess, but that's a stretch.

    X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019)

If you mean Origins then yeah, that movie is a giant turd. The Wolverine while not particularly good is a masterpiece compared to many of the mutant movies.

Yeah, that's probably it. Those things are mostly trash for 6 mana walkers.

For this card to be a thing, it likely will need a tribal home that really wants a 1 drop. By itself it's pretty marginal at best.

Can probably still do 2 color decks and it's not like Scrylands will be the only fixing.

    MTG: Arena

Well 2 color decks should be pretty easy, but 3 color decks should have a real cost to their manabase. 4-5 color decks should be very rare in Standard.

My issue with Theros Standard was that the devotion decks were largely the same with Theros as they were later on. Also I generally liked Scrylands, 3 color mana bases should come at a cost, even if it's just 8+ of your lands always coming into play tapped. I also rather enjoyed the 1 Elixir...

Scrylands back in m20. I feel like there being a cost to playing 3 color manabases in Standard is good and that having mana as good as it is now should be rare and centered around gold card centric blocks like Ravnica.

Core sets are the same size as large expansions. There's plenty of limited cards and trash in every set. What you don't get in core sets nearly as much is linear mechanics like blocks get.

I did 5 on Phinny, I'm sure I'll do at least 1 probably more here.

Well the core sets back then were absurdly powerful. But in general, they were getting used as ways of controlling standard/extended by reprinting whatever they didnt necessarily want in the blocks. In 2009 they started adding new cards to core sets with M10 and that's been how it's gone since...

Watching people do the counters event with shitty merfolk decks is quite something. U/G is fine, but you need to just play good individual cards and not all those shitass merfolk. Druid and Biogenic Ooze are wild.

He's also an excellent defensive player. That certainly matters. Look nobody is saying that he's going to ever be the best player in the league or something, but he does some things real well.

Yeah, his shooting has been bad. He does a lot of other things really well though so I think he's a worthy project as a skillset. But his dad is ridiculous.

If they could convince someone like Harris to take 20m instead of a near max contract that he might end up getting from some bad team, they could also go after like danny green and reddick both and get a lot of shooting. But that's a lot of ifs and maybes and seems like you'd need a real gm to...

Lakers really need to hit on Kemba or Butler, and hope they can get some cheap shooters. If they can get Kemba, and get like Reddick and some other dudes on exemptions/minimum type contracts they could be real good, but they've been kind of a hot mess so not sure how likely any of that is.

    2018-2019 NBA Thread

People want to make it seem like without Durant that Golden State is the same team that went 73-9 the season before he got there. But it's not true at all. Their bench/depth is nothing like it was then and if you think Iggy and Green are as good as they were 3-4 years ago you're crazy. That...

And for every "mugging" in the 90s you had 3 free baskets because nobody did shit off the ball and you could drag the bigs out of the paint. Such awesome defense when 4 or 5 players are completely uninvolved.

Curry's a better shooter, but Klay is a great perimiter defender. He's also the player that gets the hottest of anyone in the league. If you had to pick a player to score 15 points in 3 minutes, he's the dude.
