I didn't bother with any act bosses on my monk playthough. I was going to stop at 59, kill A1-3 bosses.. then diablo at 60, and malth at 70 but just ended up killing malth at 70 lol You outlevel the legendaries very quickly anyway so it was virtually a waste of time

Don't bother trying to get a character back, it won't happen thus entirely wasted effort. If servers are acting shitty, simply don't play your HC characters.. its part of the warning you accept when you make the character "Customer Support will not revive a hardcore character for any reason" or...

theres really nothing that will be better than the MLGS for a sorcery user... that build is incredibly easy as is, but i guess you can find a weapon you like, move set wise and put some points into whatever it scales best with, pop magic weapon on that and go to town?

they're way, way way too reliant on items like that to be viable though. Wizards are insanely good with even borderline "good" gear in comparision, while crusaders "need" some specific gear to be viable.

Anybody know if you can do adventure mode to 60, get a friend to give you the act boss quests and only do those quests for free legendaries? Story sucks but i still want my freebies on a different character

Thats a needed change lol, I just used all my blood shards but no dice. Aww well I was at 250k dps when i got home, ended up finding a 2h flail with a socket.. popped a gem in it and shot up to 435k, but ended up losing some toughness.. worth it though~ Next stop: 600k+! Edit: just broke...
