Game looks and runs great, but the ui is really bad. That’s a problem because you spend a ton of time in the menus. They spent 6 months polishing the visuals but it seems like the ui was a complete afterthought. Will play more today to get some impressions.

Up through normal Rey Day - not sure if it's the optimization, the new graphics card, LBG or what but I'm having a much more enjoyable time now than I remember ever having at launch. It's super easy w/ LBG but the fights and spectacle are still awesome.

Started completely over and doing a full LBG playthrough. Definitely improved performance but some odd textures still here and there. Feels good to play, going to take my time - didn't realize I hadn't even turned this on for almost a year and quit at like 105 HR.

About where I'm at as well, great time though and combat is SSS tier. Shelving for a while as there isn't much else to do, even changed builds for a change of pace and quickly started obliterating everything again.

I finished the game late last night and I guess "struggled" on a few bosses, but never near as much as pure souls games and nothing felt cheap and unfair. Going through first map again on ng+ now and things are a bit more difficult so far so a nice change. Really enjoyed this game, so much fun...

Level 95, think I'm far enough in now to declare this is one of the best action games of all time. I love this game.

25 hours in, just got to the snow area - having a blast. One mild criticism though, is pacing - end of Act 1 was like 5 bosses straight after going over 5 hours without a single boss. Not a big complaint, just weird how back loaded all the bosses were.

So the open world is perhaps slightly undertuned, though I'm not minding it too much as it allows a lot of playing around with unoptomized builds and stuff. Fun to explore too and a lot of very interesting little nooks and cranny's. Finally starting to hit some tough bosses too and few are...

Rolling switch glaive and fists and still waiting on difficulty ramp. Having a blast though, lots of interesting points to discover, tons of loot and combat remains exceptionally fun.

Getting some very good reviews on YouTube, sounds like first playthrough anywhere from 50-80+ hours, and typical nioh ng+. Nioh 1 and 2 are some of my all time most played games with ER & CP2077.

Fist weapons are fun as hell, been flying around at warp speed just shredding the map. Think I've beat everything in demo, unlocked everything (from what I can tell). Long wait until next week!
