All the guides seem to use 2h slashing as their stat stick and 2h bludgeon as their actual weapon. Haven't look at it in enough detail to see if it actually matters. How do you have enough crit with no crit on your weapons, or are you just ok with a mid crit chance?

Ball lightning sorc basically just feels like a clunkier version of ww barb but seems to be the only sorc build that's actually top tier so not sure i'm gonna even bother investing time in it after all.

Yeah the dust from infernal compasses is garbage. 2k aether will get you a couple thousand of a few types, for a however long the runs take (I forget how long each wave is, so 10x wave timer plus a minute or so for bartuc/council/in between rounds).

My biggest aether haul so far, ended up getting an abyssal lord chaos wave and then an aether goblins one (got about 2k from the goblins). Gogo 500 gem fragments on turn-in!

Lots of the nightmare dungeons give the 3 gems at the end, not just seer's rest. I haven't paid attention to which ones but i've gotten it from quite a few (but definitely not all) while doing random dungeons.

Yeah I was doing the war bounty thing on them but I just swapped to the altars side with the double altars perk too. Just found it comical that I got less loot than a random rare mob in the open world drops from the "upgraded loot" thing.
