This scenario has basically no similarities to Romulus being potentially destroyed, though, as others have noted the difference between how pre warp and warp capable civs are treated.

Wouldn't make sense with all the episodes they were trying to help some civilization out from some disaster or another, or advancing a new tech.

Yeah it's mainly the bigger rewards of the key or the 5.5k coalescing visions you get from clearing lesser assault that you might want to "bank" by sitting on it but if resets can't really do it anyways.

This is why Rice's yardage record is absolutely silly town and I'm not sure it'll ever be broken (but with stats going where they are, who knows). I'd compare it to Gretzky's goal record, only that one might actually fall in another 5-6 years.

I have to say...in general I think the corruption system is fun in trying to figure out what sort of drawbacks you can deal with, more cleave/AoE v. single target options...but the whole RNG of it all is no different than Titanforging. Some corruption pieces are barely a blip effect wise...

It's hard for me to look at the passing yards and TD's and not realize that passing stats have exploded basically over the length of Eli's career. Matt Stafford will end up passing him in passing yards in all likelihood and that tells you quite a bit.
