Nah, full screen existed back in classic as shown in his post. The only difference from that and the Kunark UI is that Kunark allowed you to move the bars around. In classic, they were locked in place. And there wasn't a separate bard song bar, so they would chew up a lot of your buff slots.
So I just finished watching last night's episode. As Carrie sat with Javadi during the lie detector scene, I swore that I knew him from somewhere.
Then during my shower it popped into my mind. He was the angry shop owner that got robbed in Crash. The one that went on to shoot the security...
I just read the latest Kick-Ass 3 (Issue 4) and Saga (Issue 15). Good books. I feel for Kick-Ass. Shit's falling apart all around him due to loser team mates. Saga was slightly sexual. I believe many nerds will bust it over the thought of the lead girl "praying". And this is considering...
...developed for PS2 and upscaled.
Oh, so it was really easy to make PS3 games. Takes seconds to port them from console to console.
What were all of those developers thinking bitching the way they did early on?
Ut, just accept that you're a 100% failure in this thread and you have...
I turn mine off every night. Then turn it on again when I get home from work and leave it that way until I go to bed again.
Newer system running a Samsung 840 Pro so it boots the OS (Win 7 Pro) in around 14 seconds from the time I press the power button.
I like shutting it off every night.
Realistically, his argument doesn't make much sense.
He's of the impression that graphics engines stay exactly the same until suddenly a new engine comes out.
Like they don't do cumulative updates to the engine to make it look better via a different revision level or whatnot.
It ALWAYS...
Rumor has it that Uncharted 4 is coming soon from Naughty Dog. (don't know if it's PS3 or PS4 atm, but probably PS4).
Pete Dodd, a guy with a podcast who also became famous for starting the #PS4NoDRM hashtag around E3, mentioned it on his podcast.
famousmortimer (atPeteDodd) on Twitter...
It's been a long time coming, but I've FINALLY completed the single player game. I still plan on getting 100% with it (but not the platinum trophy), so I'll be at it a while longer.
I really enjoyed the story.
I thought it was a day of the month kind of thing. It's currently the 3rd, and we still haven't seen the November titles. When do they typically start to appear?
I remember when I first got FF7, I was playing it up in my bedroom. I started the game and was so blown away by the amazing graphics in the opening movie that I shut my PS1 off and ran downstairs to get my mom so she could watch how realistic it was.
I mean, compared to now, it looks like dog...
I'll be honest. Based off of the video shown, I liked the way Uncharted looked more on the lower one than the higher one. Especially before Nathan stands up and the screen is dark. There's actually more detail on the black system than the white one. Then there's a few other things. The...
Being that the PS3 is capped at SATA1, *any* SSD will cap out your data transfer rate. The biggest thing is that you're going to have a nearly 0 second seeking rate for the files you need. That's where an SSD helps out on a PS3. I picked up an old (used) 160 gig Intel SSD. It's only SATA1...
So, does a 7200 RPM hard drive really get that warm? I've never noticed it in the past, but people have mentioned that putting a warm HDD in their PS3 caused it to brick. I doubt similar issues would happen with the PS4, especially with how much venting it has in the rear, but you never know.
Question about those links. The Toms Hardware link references the 16mb cache version of the drive, and your amazon link is for the 32mb cache version of the same thing.
Are they the same thickness, or is the 32 a little fatter? If that's the case, we're forced to go with the 16mb version...
In other news, after reading your comment about PS4 only having a 5400 RPM hard drive, I saw this on amazon.
Amazon.com: WD VelociRaptor 600 GB Workstation Hard Drive: 2.5 Inch, 10000 RPM, SATA III, 32 MB Cache - WD6000BLHX: Computers Accessories
600 gig 2.5" Raptor (10k RPM). It's only...
Joy oh Joy. Amazon dropped this off today.
Sean's right. It does feel nice. It has some weight to it, and it sits more comfortable in your hand than the DS3. I might get a chance to play around with it tonight. Does it work with GTA5 right now?
Here's a synopsis of the latest chapter.
"Ha, that was a fun workout. Tell the team I'm on my way to win everything now that I'm much stronger."
"Oh shit, the other people, even the shitty ones, are super strong also."
The day 1 patch is currently available for the PS4. If you have one on pre-order, you might be wise to download it ahead of time and use a USB card to install it. That way you don't have to worry about the servers being super bogged down on launch day.
PS4 1.5 Update File is apparently up...
Yeah, I wasn't talking about her acting. She seems to know her shit.
Someone earlier in this thread (I don't remember who) said she was hot, and that's bugged me ever since I first read it. Not hot, no! bad.
The latest chapter of Naruto is even worse. It's nothing more than Naruto talking and Obito being attacked by the feels. infinitely-dull-no-jitsu!
Quick, shame him into defeat.
Here's a nice unbiased report about the current troubles with both the Xbone & PS4 as we close in on Launch date.
Rumored Xbox One Launch Issues Lead To Lots Of Questions
Dana was SUCH a frump when she was crying at the end of this episode. I never understood why people think she's hot. That scene definitely accented her unhotness quite a bit.
Chalky should have killed Eli a long time ago. Fucking psycho.
I'm really looking forward to Chalky wrecking shit now. And good riddance to the guy that tried to kill him. He's always had a "fake face" look to him. Like a mask at all times.
