Leveling is pretty heinous until about lvl 20, it seems. I think it's especially impossible to do without friends. That makes it feel more like a fun-run and not just you on a treadmill.
I 50% agree with that. They can pump out a game in 4 months with more playability than most MMO's at launch in last 5 years, but if they wait 8+ months they could launch a really spectacular game.
There's some info that can be gleaned from the group queuer in beta right now, but who knows if that's accurate. I'd say more, but I'd rather not violate NDA.
It's instanced. It's large scale BG's basically. It's the highest tier, so your try hards and uberl33ts (which about half of this forum CLAIM to be) will be the only ones that are consistently successful and completely geared out by it.
Arena gear is still above BG gear so your 2v2 3v3 5v5...
Warfronts are more 'base vs base'. So I think it's going to be about 35% player vs player fights with 65% being the actual castle vs castle battle. I think you need your small groups to go out and grab different resources (think early/mid Alterac Valley) and then based upon how well they did...
I don't think it was pushing any idea, it was just pointing out that the guy who did 'wrong' was loved by so many people, and still is to a degree, and the 'good' guy will never get that attention or praise.
They've listed both PVE and PVP gear tiers:
PVE: Dungeons < 10-20 Man < 40 Man
PVP: BG's < Arena < Warplots.
Wildstar Community Beat: PVP rewards, Warplots trump Arenas | WildStar Junkies
Edit: There's a similar post about PVE somewhere...
I think people are already trying to dumb down stuff by asking for 40 man raids without 40 people.
You're not top 1% if you need this, and that's the way it should be.
The amp's are like a straightforward talent system that give stats rather than abilities. But I was referring more to checking out the Major Tier unlocks of the skills. That is where your play customization can really shine.
Austin Powers 2.
Edit: Yeah, people who walk out of movies are probably huge nerdrage shitbags. That being said, I did walk out of Blue Crush. Though I think that's one exception that's allowed.
Seent it. I'd say it was 5/10, but there's one scene that pushes it to 7/10 easy.
Can rent or see it with friends in theater, whatevers.
Jokes were forced, but some of the best stuff was Will just being Will.
Just PVP'd a bit. Seems like a cluster at the moment, but smart people with smart builds can be pretty awesome. Everyone else might just want to follow the zerg and get their biggest ranged AE they can muster. You know, like most every other MMO.
In terms of unique mechanics? Yes. In terms of dungeons? No.
You couldn't even get near comparing WS 1-35 vs WoW 1-35 either. Maybe less zones, but there's about 300 billion more things to do.
Get the cheddar bacon McChicken from McDonald's. It's probably their fanciest tasting sandwich and it's $2. I practically have a McDouble tattoo'd on my asscheeks and I think I'm favoring the CBM.
There will also be 'dungeons' in end game as well as 'adventures' which are semi-interactive dungeons (choose your own adventure!)
Both will have atleast twodifficulty settings.
Throw in rare shit in each setting or achievements or whatnot and you've got a lot of potential shit to do.
You quoted some one saying that people will max lvl as soon as possible and then quit within 30 days because there's nothing to do.
Seems relevant to me.
Leveling hasn't been 'fun' to me since WoW and that's only because it was a new type of leveling experience and it was 2004 and we...
This game is designed to be played at the end. This is, theoretically, the anti-SWTOR.
If you fucks cry about leveling not being immersive, intensive, or long enough on the forums I will be really pissed.
Rift was like :
Mage, 10 key rotation.
Cleric: 5 key rotation.
Warrior: 1-3 macro's.
Rogue: 5-10 key rotation.
Warrior's were reallllll bullshit in that game. Though my 32 seconds of invincibility as a Rogue helped balance it out a little.
Yeah, once again, you retards aren't reading what is being typed. I'm saying it's hilarious you JosephSonys say CodBros and Madden are the only reason Xbox's have success. So if that's the case, then it's just the fact that the general public prefers both consoles 48% XB1 to 52% PS4. Codbros...
Not what I was saying. I was saying that PS3 and PS4 have no multi-console multiplayer game associated with their consoles. Everyone for some reason says Madden and COD are Xbro games. But SonyBronys have nothing associated with them.
Probably because all Sony fanbois are loser nerds with...
Well, 6 months out is better than the 2-3 that D3 did. Also it's more fine-tuning (regeneration/generation/what abilities are 'free') than "OH FUCK LETS ADD A 2ND RESOURCE YOU BUILD WHILE MOVING!!!!!"
I love that XB1 get's CoD. It's multi-platform, but because it's considered a 'lesser' FPS we XBOwners (patent pending) have it attributed to us.
The 'uninformed' frat dudes I know last generation all had PS3's. I remember them wanting to play CoD with me and they couldn't because I had a...
