I Have the AW3420DW and it’s freaking awesome. Sorry have never used it with a consoles but I know It’s going to be 1080p with a PS4 as it only has hdmi 1.4. You need a DP cable for 1440p

OK this is a silly question and i am sorry i should know this. 1280 x 720 is 720P 1920 x 1080 is 1080p 2560 x 1440 is 1440p 3840 x 2160 is 2160p but we call this 4k. Why do we call it 4k? and not 2k? Did they simply shift from the vertical to horizontal naming? My monitor is 3440 x 1440...
