@Sanrith Descartes CCVU .. what broker are you using? Can't find that symbol in Lightspeed, TD Ameritrade, or my eSignal charting software. I can (and did), however, purchase it in the retirement account through Fidelity. What gives with the other brokers?

Most brokers wont let you trade it on margin. So, could be a cash restriction? (guessing)

Yep, I am using Lightspeed and eSignal. Pricey, but worth it. Though I swing trade in TOS. But it bit me yesterday only allowing premarket trading after 7am. Had a 10% green overnight swing turn red by 7am.

As big of a trader you are, I am shocked you aren't using eSignal. Try their free trial. It is the best there is and TOS feels clunky and antiquated. I can dial in precision entries all the way down to a 1 second timeframe (I use 24S for entries). TOS won't go under 1 min.

My broker (Lightspeed) actually has shares to borrow on AMC, which I find kind of crazy. Borrow cost of $0.062 per share. No interest in taking that position, but there is still risk-on sentiment out there.

My thinking is, the SEC fines are probably far less cost vs than the manipulative gains / short losses they were facing. It becomes a no-brainer. Eat the (relatively) tiny fine, SEC gets to claim justice served, they all laugh their way back to their mansions while joe retail investor was fucked.

That said, the biggest GME volume bar in the intraday trading was the volume bottom low price of $112 at 11:24am. Even higher volume than the opening 1min bar. Hedge funds hitting the buy button to cover? Who knows..

The volume is down because of the trade restrictions these brokers have put in place. If the retail trader can't hit the buy button on these, its going to have a big effect.
