Personally im waiting on one of the 45 inch QHD panels to come out. Sure the PPI will be shit but i honestly dont care. I also think the 4080 16gb will max 1440p@240hz and the pricing this time around is dumb and the 4080 12GB is not even a 4080 anymore.

If you buy 3 cards and sell 2 for 50% more it pays for itself so when you think of it this way then the price is irrelevant!

Really sucks AMD is waiting till November to unveil their shit - didnt they do it the same way last time? Curious if they will be able to match Nvidia this time around, if not so long as close but cheaper its still a win.

I’ll likely get a few and see what AMD does. I’d like to go all AMD this gen since I plan to do a lot of streaming next year. If all else fails I’ll flip them on eBay because some countries won’t have them at release.

Yeah if its only for daily family use that HP is just fine and since it has a GPU you can use it for some simple gaming - but youd need to upgrade ram to 16GB - If you do alot of varied work related task you can upgrade that to 32GB. Building is always the best route, but i get that not...

My NAS has 20TB on drives and a couple plugged in drives as well. My local NAS keeps all full sized bluray disc on it. My cloud server also host plex and it only has 4TB of space so it cycles through alot of content.
